About Rapids Rec Soccer

Wisconsin Rapids Rec Soccer, a division of Rapids Area Soccer, Inc. (R.A.S.I.), was established in 1978 and is a recreational soccer organization serving the community of Wisconsin Rapids and the surrounding areas.

Our non-profit organization provides a positive soccer environment for our area's youth. We seek to provide an equal opportunity for all soccer players to participate in a non-competitive environment that develops a player's skills, knowledge, and appreciation for the game of soccer by incorporating training, structure, and development through positive coaching.

Through experiences derived from playing recreational soccer, we strive to help players mature as members of society and encourage the development of essential life skills such as good sportsmanship, teamwork, goal setting, and fair play. 

We offer recreational soccer for players 5-17 years old with two seasons, spring and fall.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for youth to learn, grow and develop their soccer skills while fostering a love for the sport and promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition. We strive to enhance all participants' physical, mental, and emotional well-being and create lifelong memories.

Our Purpose

The purpose of our youth recreational soccer organization is to provide opportunities for young athletes to learn and play the game of soccer in a fun, supportive, and development-focused setting. Our focus is to promote physical activity, teamwork, and good sportsmanship while building character and confidence in all participants.
